Sushi Oaks is a hidden gem in Thousand Oaks. The fish is incredibly fresh, and their spicy tuna hand rolls are easily some of the best I’ve ever had—perfect texture, just the right balance of ingredients . Everything here is clean, balanced, and clearly made with care. Great service, chill atmosphere, no fluff—just top-tier sushi done right. Highly recommend.

Since Sushi Oaks does not have a website, I was using the menus posted online for pricing. Chicken Teriyaki dinner was 9.95, now 13.00 - California roll was 5.00 or 5.50, now 6.95 - just a heads up regarding the pricing. Food was very, very good. My favorite place to get rolls. YUM!
Good food all the time. The restaurant was busy and it was only 5 when we went there. The takeout orders seemed to equal the dine in orders.
I have been eating sushi for over 30 years and have enjoyed sushi all over the US and the world (including Japan). I can honestly say that Sushi Oaks is one of the best if not the best sushi restaurants I have had the pleasure to dine in. The fish is always top notch. The flavors of the rolls are fantastic. Try the Bird Handroll!
